Let Death Set You Free

by The Asian Casanova on February 24, 2012

If you died tomorrow, would you look back on your life with regrets?

Would it put a new perspective on life?

Would it make things that you were scared of seem insignificant?

Would jumping out of an airplane really seem that bad?

Would approaching that incredibly beautiful girl really seem impossible?

Would you take more chances in life?

Imagine what it would be like if you died tomorrow and reassess your fears. Think about the things you thought about trying, but didn’t.

What we don’t realize is that life is incredibly short. And it gets shorter and shorter.

Our concept of time grows smaller and smaller over time.

Didn’t it seem like it was not too long ago that you were in high school? Was it not too long ago that you were in kindergarten picking your nose?

My point is, there will come a day where you’re much older than you are now and you’ll wonder to yourself, “Wow, so much time as passed…” It’ll end up happening sooner than you think.

This usually happens around the time people start suffering their mid-life crises. They look back on their life and they realize that there is more that they regret not doing versus what they did.

All the missed opportunities.

Just think about that the next time you let fear get in the way of you doing something that could change your life for the better.
